Sell-Through Rate Calculator

For each product it shows the sell-through rate, units sold per week, units left, weeks of supply, and a projected sell-out date. In whole catalog mode, units received is units sold + units left, the same basis as Shopify's report. Weeks of supply is units left ÷ units sold per week, and the date assumes that pace holds.

• Reorder now: the product sold out, or its weeks of supply are at or below your supplier lead time.
• Watch: weeks of supply are at or below twice your lead time.
• Mark down: nothing sold in the period, or you have more than 26 weeks of supply.
• Healthy: everything else.

You need one file with a row per product or variant, its units sold, and its stock left. In Shopify, open Analytics > Reports, choose the Products by sell-through rate report, and export it as CSV. Any spreadsheet with those three columns works too.

Upload the file or paste it in, check the columns, and enter how many weeks the data covers. You can sort the results and export them. The file stays in your browser.
